Rural Bank of Solano (N.V.) Inc. respects and values the data privacy rights of its customers and promotes the protection of their personal data. Hence, the Bank adopted this Data Privacy Statement in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and other relevant policies and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). This data privacy statement outlines the Bank's policies and procedures on data protection to ensure that personal data collected by the bank from its clients are processed in adherence to the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.

We store your data on specially protected servers within the Rural Bank of Solano. These are protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all risks is not possible.

Insofar as external service providers are used by us within the scope of the provision of services, their access to the data also takes place exclusively for purposes related to the provision of services. Through technical and organizational measures, we ensure compliance with data protection regulations and also oblige our external service providers to comply with these.

Data deletion and storage time

The bank will ensure that personal data under its custody are protected against unlawful processing, disclosure, alteration and deletion. All information gathered shall be retained in for a period of at least five (5) years. All soft copies of personal information shall be disposed and destroyed in a secured manner and in accordance with the retention and disposal guidelines of BSP.
